Open Question: Why does my skin irritate after I use acne treatment?

Now I use Neutrogena oil-free acne wash, washing, I through me, my skin began to dry up, my skin feel it blow, when I raised my face. Sometimes, I leave some water on my face, it is not dried up, but still occur. At school, when I feel my skin dry, I use CleanClear dual role, moisturizing, and my skin smooth all day. So my question is, why Neutrogena oil-free acne wash my face so dry? And it seems I will not go away erythema and papules. And OK to use it with my CleanClear Neutrogena moisturizing?
